''The Fundamentals'' is the eleventh studio album by American rapper Juvenile. The album was released on February 18, 2014, by Rap-A-Lot Records.

Upon its release, ''The Fundamentals'' was met with mixed reviews from music critics. Steven Goldstein of HipHopDX gave the album two out of five stars, saying "As Young Money readies the release of ''Rise of an Empire'', we’re reminded of the days when Cash Money artists like Juvenile framed hedonistic Hip Hop around social justice issues. There’s nothing wrong with Juvenile still trying to make Southern party Rap, especially considering New Orleans’ rich history in bounce. But with several influential singles to his name, he could have at least flexed some veteran creativity and gone a bit deeper with his concept, rather than falling back on the formula that’s currently selling for rappers at least a decade younger than him. Even with the new attention it’s receiving, ''The Fundamentals'' is forgettable at best."〔 Max Goldberg of ''XXL'' gave the album an M, saying "Ultimately, the album’s title feels ironic. ''The Fundamentals'' struggles because Juvenile failed to tap into the skills that made him so exciting back in the day. Here’s hoping that Juve can reconnect with what allowed him be so great in the first place."〔 David Jeffries of AllMusic gave the album three out of four stars, saying "Content baller albums don't come around often, because as ''The Fundamentals'' displays, they aren't easy to pull off. Still, with enough hooks to fill a bait shop, Juvenile's 11th studio effort does cross the finish line with the required amount of highlights to recommend to fans."〔
